Immigrant Rights

HB78: Prohibit LEO w/ ICE Churches/Schools/Hospitals

Recent federal action has eliminated the protection of sensitive spaces from ICE Raids. This bill would prevent local law enforcement from cooperating with ICE deportation raids in places like hospitals, churches, and schools. Everyone has the right to worship, learn, and receive lifesaving medical care without fear. These spaces, which act as lifelines and deliver essential services to people of all ages and backgrounds, deserve our protection.
