The mission of the NC Progressive House Caucus is to advance a legislative agenda in the NC General Assembly promoting equality, humanity, safety, health, and justice for all North Carolinians; giving due respect to the culture, gender, age, and socioeconomic differences of the people of North Carolina.
Representative Mary Belk represents District 88 (Mecklenburg County). She serves on the committees for Election Law, Health, Regulatory Reform, Transportation, and Appropriations. She is serving her fifth term in the House.
Representative Kanika Brown represents District 71 (Forsyth County). She serves on the committees for Agriculture and Environment, Alcoholic Beverage Control, Commerce and Econommic Development, and Appropriations. She is serving her second term in the House.
Representative Laura Budd represents District 103 (Mecklenburg County). She serves on the committees for Education K-12, House Select Committee on Helene Recovery, Judiciary 2, Transportation, and Appropriations. She is serving her second term in the House.
Representative Deb Butler is a Co-Chair of the NC House Progressive Caucus. She represents District 18 (New Hanover County). She serves on the committees for Agriculture and Environment, Judiciary, Finance, Transportation, and Wildlife Resources. She is serving her fourth term in the House.
Representative Maria Cervania represents District 41 (Morrisville). She serves on the committees for Health, Energy and Public Utilities, Oversight, and Appropriations. She is serving her second term in the House.
Representative Aisha Dew represents District 107 (Mecklenburg County). She serves on the committees for Education K-12, Finance, and Pensions and Retirement. She is serving her first term in the House.
Representative Julia Greenfield represents District 100 (Mecklenburg County). She serves on the committees for Agriculture and Environment, Education K-12, and Appropriations. She is serving her first term in the House.
Representative Pricey Harrison represents District 61 (Guilford County). She serves on the committees for Agriculture and the Environment, Election Law, Energy and Public Utilities, Judiciary, and Appropriations. She is serving her eleventh term in the House.
Representative Marcia Morey represents District 30 (Durham). She serves on the committees for Justice and Public Safety, Education K-12, Appropriations, and Insurance. She is serving her fifth term in the House.
Representative Renée Price is Co-Chair of the NC House Progressive Caucus. She represents District 50 (Orange County). She serves on the committees for Judiciary, Regulatory Reform, Higher Education, Rules, and Appropriations. She is serving her second term in the House.
